The Chandra X-ray Observatory is share of NASA’s fleet of “Colossal Observatories” in conjunction with the Hubble Establish Telescope, the Spitizer Establish Telescope and the now deorbited Compton Gamma Ray Observatory. Chandra permits scientists from across the sphere to fetch X-ray photography of bright environments to relief heed the structure and evolution of the universe. The Chandra X-ray Observatory program is managed by NASA’s Marshall Center for the Science Mission Directorate, NASA Headquarters, Washington, D.C. The Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) in Cambridge, Mass., is accountable for the conduct of the day-to-day flight operations and science actions from the Operations Protect a watch on Center and Chandra X-ray Center (CXC) facilities.
